With an all-out effort, MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ján Tuleja threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivan Erdődy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ladislav Vališ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomáš Semenník in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Tomáš Malý notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ. Ladislav Vališ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomáš Malý made a kick off. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Melon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
