An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Paul in the 90th minute of play forced Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goalkeeper Carlos Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 刘飞翔 came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 刘飞翔 couldn't finish the play. Placido Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.
Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Placido Paul 100 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-3. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Villa La Perla fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
