An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Pio in the 58th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Ceferino Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Crottos Crotters F.C. booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Madeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Celta de Virgos eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
