When Lauren Traspuesto came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauren Traspuesto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romano Milan in the 35th minute of play forced 1SIEMPRE BLANQUIAZULES's goalkeeper Berbiz Iruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Zorros del Desierto were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jasone Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Gay in the 67th minute of play. When Falo Pero fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorros del Desierto's protests and gave Falo Pero a yellow card for diving instead. Jasone Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Gay in the 77th minute of play.
