Juan Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silverio Estefan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Domenghini in the 26th minute of play forced Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Juan Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Isótopos V.M.'s goalkeeper Juan Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Bruno Banana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Juan Furtado to make any attempt to save it. In the 47th match minute, Isótopos V.M. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Misael to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The tension between the Bisturi F.C. and the Isótopos V.M. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bisturi F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Adriano Atroce hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Karim Benzema got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdinando Di Natale during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bisturi F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Isótopos V.M.'s Silvano Alvarez was substituted for Karim Benzema. Adriano Caruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner led Bisturi F.C.'s Adriano Atroce to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Furtado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Blas Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Camillo Domenghini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Lauria kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Bisturi F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Aurelio Lauria hit a great ball. Carter Orsini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Lohitzun in the 90th minute. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 1-1. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

Ferdinando Di Natale hit a great freekick 104 minutes into the match. Froilan Lohitzun took the ball and in the 105 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carter Orsini. Carter Orsini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Isótopos V.M. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
