The crowd rose to their feet as Cesare Chiarelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pipis Culot. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Moriste en el balotaje's attentive Leonardo Gai managed to snatch the ball when Benigno Remigio made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Moriste en el balotaje defense, Fabian Rywin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pipis Culot. The Moriste en el balotaje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pipis Culot should have stopped the shot. Dries De Hondt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edu Atila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Dries De Hondt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moriste en el balotaje's supporters rose to their feet, but Dries De Hondt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edu Atila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Moriste en el balotaje's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Rywin came free, but Pipis Culot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Albino Belo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moriste en el balotaje's Dries De Hondt in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pipis Culot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Macario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Moriste en el balotaje's Sidney Joannes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edu Atila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Sidney Joannes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Gustaf Vestlund fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1984 Castelli Futbol's protests and gave Gustaf Vestlund a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes 1984 Castelli Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Vestlund. Moriste en el balotaje's Raimundo Intxixu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edu Atila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Sidney Joannes came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Moriste en el balotaje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Joannes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to 1984 Castelli Futbol getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fernando Geofredo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in 1984 Castelli Futbol's zone, Andres D'Alessandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edu Atila came out of the goal and Andres D'Alessandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The 1984 Castelli Futbol support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
