Betão Pontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Guyu FC's goalkeeper Firmo Canosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucjan Werra. The supporters of GKS Katowice booed when Guyu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garoa Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the GKS Katowice defense, Silvestre Cacheres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Betão Pontes. The GKS Katowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Betão Pontes should have stopped the shot. Wlodzimierz Brytan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Firmo Canosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The GKS Katowice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guyu FC were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucjan Werra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
