The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tytus Wyrzykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Hallgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Tytus Wyrzykowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Östen Gunnarsson. In the 9th match minute, Almaröds FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Bogren to maneuver through the defense. Tytus Wyrzykowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Gunnarsson in the 10th minute. After 16 played minutes Almaröds FF got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cremonese. In the 19th minute of the match, Tony Hallgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tytus Wyrzykowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tytus Wyrzykowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Östen Gunnarsson in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Kilstedt got free with Tytus Wyrzykowski in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sixten Dahlgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Porst went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tony Hallgren made a kick off. Tytus Wyrzykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the game, Mark Porst recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sixten Dahlgren. Mark Porst showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Gert Terpstra hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sixten Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Porst in the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Frogner booed when Almaröds FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Bogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Almaröds FF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
