If Jan Tõnuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Urbano Saturnin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Tõnuri's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Urbano Saturnin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Tõnuri in the 20th minute of the match. Jan Tõnuri might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Saturnin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Tõnuri ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Tõnuri in the 24th minute of play forced Sao Brasola's goalkeeper Urbano Saturnin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Tõnuri in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbano Saturnin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, Jan Tõnuri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin. Urbano Saturnin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Jan Tõnuri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Saturnin was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Sao Brasola made a substitution. Camillo Galeone replaced Emilio Paglione. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elia Di Vincenzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kees Enzing lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. The referee gave Sao Brasola a penalty, 95 minutes into the game.
