In the 44th minute of the match, Ronaldinho Peixoto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernan Licerio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th minute of the match Sprite Star Football got a corner. Sporting Club Victoria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Fontes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sprite Star Football's Wiliam Fontes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hernan Licerio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albano Aurken was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Lúcio Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Licerio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Geraldo Munhoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Licerio having to make a save. A collision led to Sporting Club Victoria getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Roberto Endura hit a great ball. Percy de Queiroz took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Licerio. Hernan Licerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 62nd minute, Percy de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Licerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Peixoto notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Sporting Club Victoria's Hernan Licerio. Hernan Licerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hernan Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Peixoto came free, but Hernan Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Sprite Star Football's Ronaldinho Peixoto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Goiz hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Sporting Club Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Peixoto came free, but Hernan Licerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronaldinho Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Sporting Club Victoria's Roberto Endura got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ronaldinho Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sprite Star Football booed when Sporting Club Victoria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Eladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Sprite Star Football players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
