The corner led Joinville City - FSCMZ's Henrique Camargo to fire away a dangerous shot which Augusto Mesquita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bebela's goalie prevented a goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's attentive Henrique Camargo managed to snatch the ball when Igor Škarpa made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. Augusto Mesquita came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis. But to his dismay, Geovanildo Luis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bebela's goalkeeper Augusto Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Joinville City - FSCMZ got a corner. Bebela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrique Camargo ran over to the corner to take the kick. João Francisco Arce was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 29th minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bebela's zone, Geovanildo Luis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Mesquita came out of the goal and Geovanildo Luis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bebela getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Alan Tavares hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Henrique Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Mesquita skillfully saved the ball. Geovanildo Luis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Augusto Mesquita came out and tried to block the shot, but Geovanildo Luis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. In the 47th minute, Igor Škarpa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 48 minutes, Geovanildo Luis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovanildo Luis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovanildo Luis was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Mesquita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the Bebela defense, Geovanildo Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Mesquita. The Bebela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Mesquita should have stopped the shot. Geovanildo Luis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Mesquita having to make a save. Augusto Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Geovanildo Luis scored 6-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Mesquita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Cássio de Andrade replaced João Francisco Arce. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos was substituted for Geovanildo Luis. Augusto Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio de Andrade in the 69th minute of play. Ruy Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Haji Sarap made a huge save. Augusto Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adhemar Santos went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Santos in the 91st minute of play forced Bebela's goalkeeper Augusto Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Adhemar Santos put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Mesquita. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Mesquita was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
