In the 15th minute Efrain Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes in the game Yu Guang Chen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Efrain Lope. 20 minutes in the game Eugeniusz Jaktorowo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ben-Ami Gol. The audience was convinced that Geovanildo Luis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Tepedino was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Lope in the 23rd minute. If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. But to his dismay, Geovanildo Luis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Lope in the 40th minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dário Tepedino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44thth minute of the game Ben-Ami Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ben-Ami Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Dário Tepedino was a little too slow when Ronaldinho Gaucho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Barreal FC's Dário Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 56th minute of play. Geovanildo Luis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Tepedino having to make a save. Geovanildo Luis might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dário Tepedino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovanildo Luis ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geovanildo Luis. 77 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Tepedino. Barreal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanildo Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Cássio de Andrade replaced João Francisco Arce. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben-Ami Gol in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haji Sarap saved Joinville City - FSCMZ from getting behind. In the 84th minute Yu Guang Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Lope took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Dário Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Santos in the 90th minute of play. Dário Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Tepedino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Abraão in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Barreal FC's goalkeeper Dário Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horácio Abraão. Dário Tepedino stood somewhat misplaced when Adhemar Santos came free in front of goal and shot 1-7 to the left of him in the 95 minute.
