The corner ended in Nereo Acosta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislaw Walczak to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Erlantz Bermejo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Stanislaw Walczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 60th minute of play. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şota Arveladze in the 61st minute of the match. When Belo Alvarez fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D. Alcorcón's protests and gave Belo Alvarez a yellow card for diving instead. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. In the 77th minute, Stanislaw Walczak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Gdynia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Erlantz Bermejo's late challenge caught a Olympique Gdynia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erlantz Bermejo helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Erlantz Bermejo. After 84 minutes of play, Olympique Gdynia's Fabio-Roman Zabaleta made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurino Serena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tanek Ostrowski made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Erlantz Bermejo sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arcadio Ramiréz didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the A.D. Alcorcón players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olympique Gdynia.
