Geovanildo Luis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lookman Loody came out and tried to block the shot, but Geovanildo Luis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Tomitak Wrocław's Lookman Loody. Lookman Loody was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lookman Loody made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 15th minute. In the 24th minute, Mikolaj Filanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Geovanildo Luis 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. After 30 minutes of play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lookman Loody was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Tomitak Wrocław defense, Geovanildo Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lookman Loody. The Tomitak Wrocław fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lookman Loody should have stopped the shot. Lookman Loody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovanildo Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lookman Loody read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radowit Palzewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geovanildo Luis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lookman Loody read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Geovanildo Luis scored 7-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lookman Loody, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Adhemar Santos replaced Geovanildo Luis. Lookman Loody came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Adhemar Santos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Abraão in the 74th minute of play forced Tomitak Wrocław's goalkeeper Lookman Loody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Tomitak Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radowit Palzewicz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Adhemar Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lookman Loody was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Eugeniusz Tyskie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haji Sarap having to make a save. After 92 played minutes Tomitak Wrocław got a freekick which was hit by Radowit Palzewicz. In the 93rd minute of the match Henrique Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lookman Loody skillfully saved the ball. If Fred Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
