In the 17th minute, Dorian do Vale made a precise shot to the right of Severiano Rafe. Madison's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Severiano Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian do Vale in the 25th minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Dorian do Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Madison's Severiano Rafe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Pitta in the 29th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merusca F&P were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Madison's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zuriel Levinson took the corner. The corner led Merusca F&P's Zuriel Levinson to fire away a dangerous shot which Severiano Rafe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dorian do Vale took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Rafe. Severiano Rafe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Severiano Rafe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorian do Vale went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After having played for 41 minutes, Dorian do Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merusca F&P's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian do Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Madison's zone, Dorian do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Rafe came out of the goal and Dorian do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian do Vale in the 47th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Silvano Polentzi made the kick off in the second half. Dorian do Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Rafe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dorian do Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the match, Dorian do Vale dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Severiano Rafe, 0-5. Merusca F&P's Luizinho Messias was substituted for Régis de Souza. Ciriaco Blasi made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Merusca F&P's Gilberto Massa. Severiano Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Dorian do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Rafe having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Pitta got free with Severiano Rafe in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 65 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Zuriel Levinson. A collision led to Merusca F&P getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Zuriel Levinson hit a great ball. Merusca F&P's Franz Dubosq played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Peru in the 67th minute of play. 0-6 became the score in the 69th minute when Dorian do Vale elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Severiano Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Pitta in the 76th minute. Merusca F&P's Luís Paulo França was substituted for Dorian do Vale. Madison's Severiano Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo França in the 86th minute of play. If Luís Paulo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Madison's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Paulo França came free, but Severiano Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Paulo França in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Rafe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Luís Paulo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo França's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Rafe was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.

Merusca F&P's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
