After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Miromir Szostak managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hackspett U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Miromir Szostak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joan-Manuel Joestar in the 6th minute of play. Felipe Varela made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Shi Li Sha sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute Miromir Szostak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after FC Hackspett U21's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emmanuel Vilaprenyo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Emmanuel Vilaprenyo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joachim Holmgren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ defense, Miromir Szostak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felipe Varela. The ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felipe Varela should have stopped the shot. Shi Li Sha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28thth minute of the game Joan-Manuel Joestar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hackspett U21's Joachim Holmgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 31st minute, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Vellito Liebana seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vellito Liebana the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vellito Liebana had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Felipe Varela had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Shi Li Sha's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the match, FC Hackspett U21's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Oxarra came free, but Joachim Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Felipe Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ from getting a goal against them. Eloi Lantaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Joachim Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shi Li Sha to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Shi Li Sha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miromir Szostak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Felipe Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Aristides Bihar was substituted for Roman Luar. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Anthonio Zeppeli was substituted for Lino Raymond. Joachim Holmgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joan-Manuel Joestar's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Joachim Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joan-Manuel Joestar, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 80th minute, Luka Pirlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Hackspett U21 made a substitution. Edvard Klemensson replaced Ye Feng Feng. FC Hackspett U21's Alvin Brenner was substituted for Shi Li Sha. In the 89th match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Grubb to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Klemensson in the 92nd minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Felipe Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Hackspett U21 had won, even though ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ had held more of the ball.
