Baltasar Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Benigno Fiz in the 4th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UD Fuerteventura's Ismael Munoz. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. Geovani Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Baltasar Roldan made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Geovani Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Roldan was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Baltasar Roldan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Barral went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Barral came free, but Baltasar Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geovani Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Roldan having to make a save. Baltasar Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovani Barral in the 15th minute. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Baltasar Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Barral in the 19th minute of play. Claris Quiroga spun around in front of the goal 22 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal. After 25 minutes DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan managed, with a little bit of luck, save Geovani Barral's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 25 minutes into the match, Geovani Barral dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baltasar Roldan, 2-0. In the 28th play minute Geovani Barral came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baltasar Roldan. 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Delmar Lapurdi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 37 minutes into the match, Claris Quiroga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baltasar Roldan, 4-1. The UD Fuerteventura fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when UD Fuerteventura's Claris Quiroga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Platon Dorado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Roldan having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Filiberto Matteo in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by UD Fuerteventura's Ismael Munoz. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Osorio to make the kick off. Primitivo Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UD Fuerteventura booed when DeportivoIndependienteMDP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Erramu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Roldan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 56th minute, Claris Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baltasar Roldan was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The attack was good, but when Platon Dorado in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After having played for 70 minutes, Geovani Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Fuerteventura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovani Barral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Allard Ijsselhof was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Fuerteventura's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DeportivoIndependienteMDP the free kick. Allard Ijsselhof kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 86th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in DeportivoIndependienteMDP's zone, Geovani Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Roldan came out of the goal and Geovani Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the UD Fuerteventura players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
