The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rogelio Enmanuel charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Enmanuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flávio Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Cordera went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the game, Papato Tatengue's Filiberto Flor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flávio Fantini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 19 minutes of play, Papato Tatengue's Aurelio Cordera made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flávio Fantini was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to S.C.PAULISTA getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cláudio Leite hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Victoriano Flor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Fantini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Frank Leão. Filiberto Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Flávio Fantini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flávio Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moisés Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Cordera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flávio Fantini having to make a save. 37 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Cordera came free, but Flávio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute Aurelio Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio Fantini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Cordera went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Aurelio Cordera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Flávio Fantini made a huge save. Aurelio Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Cordera came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Flávio Fantini could save by the left post. Aurelio Cordera had several of the S.C.PAULISTA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Flávio Fantini as he didn't even see the shot coming. Flávio Fantini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurelio Cordera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 67 minute of play. S.C.PAULISTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Aurelio Cordera scored to the left of an out of position Flávio Fantini, making the score, 0-8. Aurelio Cordera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Aurelio Cordera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flávio Fantini, 0-9. The supporters of S.C.PAULISTA booed when Papato Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Cordera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Papato Tatengue could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.C.PAULISTA throughout the match.
