Bernardo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Claris Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Fuerteventura's supporters rose to their feet, but Claris Quiroga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mías Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Titanes Mayas got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Omero. Bernardo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Titanes Mayas booed when UD Fuerteventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constancio Llinares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Artal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Geovani Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mías Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mías Marin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovani Barral went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Elija during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Titanes Mayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Elija to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Geovani Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bernardo Vazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Dei in the 42nd minute of the match. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mías Marin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Dei to make the kick off. Bernardo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Txordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes of play, UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mías Marin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mías Marin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. When Geovani Barral came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the UD Fuerteventura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Barral couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes in the game Florencio Goyo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amado Dei. The throw-in from Florencio Goyo in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by UD Fuerteventura's Allard Ijsselhof. Bernardo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Dei, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Geovani Barral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
