Erwin Schrödinger struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Enrique Caldero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baby Snakes. Archie Greenwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Enrique Caldero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Archie Greenwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baby Snakes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Archie Greenwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Caldero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Greenwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Erwin Schrödinger made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Caldero. Resistencia Tayrona FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes in the game, Archie Greenwood dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Archie Greenwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joam Almarza's late challenge caught a Baby Snakes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joam Almarza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Joam Almarza got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Enrique Caldero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Greenwood in the 26th minute of the match. Joam Almarza was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 28 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Joam Almarza. Erwin Schrödinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Montrel Chamorro to make the kick off. In the last second Enrique Caldero throw himself and got hold of the ball when Archie Greenwood in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Archie Greenwood in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Caldero saved Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting behind. Erwin Schrödinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Montrel Chamorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Ciano Bonifaz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harvey Courtney in the 67 minute of the game. In the 70th minute, Baby Snakes's Erwin Schrödinger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Enrique Caldero. Enrique Caldero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Resistencia Tayrona FC made a substitution. Gervasio Buenahora replaced Refugio Izaga. 78 minutes into the game, Baby Snakes's Archie Greenwood nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Caldero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Baby Snakes made a substitution. Artuir McNamee replaced Olaf Osielski. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Enrique Caldero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Baby Snakes fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Baby Snakes's Archie Greenwood looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute Adriano Samperio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ron Tomkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erwin Schrödinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Enrique Caldero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Archie Greenwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Caldero having to interfere. When the match was over Baby Snakes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Resistencia Tayrona FC throughout the match.
