Jaime Pérez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Baltasar Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Quirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Sarracino took the corner. The corner ended in Gerardo Veronica almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Frente Revolucionario F.C's Humberto Quirós did a great save. After 31 minutes, Ramon García mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frente Revolucionario F.C and the DeportivoIndependienteMDP players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramon García hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in DeportivoIndependienteMDP's zone, Jaime Pérez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Roldan came out of the goal and Jaime Pérez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to DeportivoIndependienteMDP getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Delmar Lapurdi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Samuel Mateo got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tomás Quiros was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Jaime Pérez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baltasar Roldan, passed just outside the right post. A collision led to Frente Revolucionario F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Monchi Toledano hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pérez in the 96th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frente Revolucionario F.C played a much better game than DeportivoIndependienteMDP and deserved their victory. The DeportivoIndependienteMDP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
