The crowd rose to their feet as Geovani Barral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Randall Rodríguez. That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Randall Rodríguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Platon Dorado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique De Los Santos made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Martxot Vaquerizo. Bernardo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urko Tabares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Randall Rodríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Geovani Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEÑAROL PIPERO's Randall Rodríguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. UD Fuerteventura's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geovani Barral in the 29th minute. If Constancio Llinares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 33rd minute of play forced PEÑAROL PIPERO's goalkeeper Randall Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, PEÑAROL PIPERO's Ixidor Gudiel got a free kick in the 37th minute. Randall Rodríguez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when UD Fuerteventura's Geovani Barral shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claris Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Randall Rodríguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Randall Rodríguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Platon Dorado in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geovani Barral in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Randall Rodríguez saved PEÑAROL PIPERO from getting behind. Geovani Barral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randall Rodríguez having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 64th minute of play forced PEÑAROL PIPERO's goalkeeper Randall Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PEÑAROL PIPERO's Randall Rodríguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Barral in the 67th minute of play. Enrique De Los Santos made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelo Zalayeta immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Geovani Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Fuerteventura's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Randall Rodríguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Barral in the 75th minute of play forced PEÑAROL PIPERO's goalkeeper Randall Rodríguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Randall Rodríguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The throw-in from Enrique De Los Santos in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by UD Fuerteventura's Constancio Llinares. In the 89th match minute, UD Fuerteventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Piatek to maneuver through the defense. Claris Quiroga took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Randall Rodríguez. Randall Rodríguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Geovani Barral put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Randall Rodríguez. UD Fuerteventura walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
