But to his dismay, Aurelio Cordera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Enrique Caldero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Cordera in the 24th minute of the match. Xusto Lasquibar's late challenge caught a Papato Tatengue's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xusto Lasquibar helped the player get up and apologised. Xusto Lasquibar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Enrique Caldero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Cordera in the 33rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Cristián Belgrano in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Resistencia Tayrona FC's Xusto Lasquibar. If Aurelio Cordera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xusto Lasquibar kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The Resistencia Tayrona FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Papato Tatengue were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelio Cordera was the one to do the kick off. Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aurelio Cordera 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. After 71 minutes of play Resistencia Tayrona FC's Joam Almarza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd match minute, Resistencia Tayrona FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joam Almarza to maneuver through the defense. Resistencia Tayrona FC's Enrique Caldero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Resistencia Tayrona FC from getting a goal against them. Filiberto Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Buenahora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Resistencia Tayrona FC were awarded a corner. Adriano Samperio went to the cornerflag to take it. Gervasio Buenahora was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When the match was over Papato Tatengue could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Resistencia Tayrona FC throughout the match.
