Aurelio Cordera took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Roldan. Baltasar Roldan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Aurelio Cordera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Cordera came free, but Baltasar Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltasar Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Cordera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aurelio Cordera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Papato Tatengue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Ihazintu to maneuver through the defense. When Samuel Mateo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DeportivoIndependienteMDP's protests and gave Samuel Mateo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Samuel Mateo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Aurelio Cordera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Roldan. Aurelio Cordera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Baltasar Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Cordera in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Cordera in the 35th minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Cordera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Roldan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Cordera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baltasar Roldan was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Froilan Sanchez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 47th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Baltasar Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Flor in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Aurelio Cordera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltasar Roldan. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Cordera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Aurelio Cordera might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Cordera ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute Aurelio Cordera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Roldan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Papato Tatengue fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Papato Tatengue's Aurelio Cordera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. DeportivoIndependienteMDP's Baltasar Roldan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Cordera in the 81st minute of play. Papato Tatengue were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after DeportivoIndependienteMDP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lino Bertol took the corner. 85 minutes into the game, Papato Tatengue's Aurelio Cordera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Roldan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. 90 minutes into the match, Papato Tatengue's Aurelio Cordera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baltasar Roldan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Filiberto Matteo in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Papato Tatengue's Rogelio Enmanuel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Cordera in the 93rd minute of play forced DeportivoIndependienteMDP's goalkeeper Baltasar Roldan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Esteve Gasteiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Cordera might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Roldan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurelio Cordera ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Papato Tatengue fans cheered their team off the field, for while DeportivoIndependienteMDP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
