The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Txordon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Themos Stamelos. That made the score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Giannakis in the 21st minute of play forced Titanes Mayas's goalkeeper Amancio Artal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Petros Giannakis came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ΠΑΟΚ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petros Giannakis couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Lisandro Leoiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themos Stamelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themos Stamelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Amado Dei might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Themos Stamelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amado Dei ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute Aris Voutsas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Hipolito Txordon's late challenge caught a ΠΑΟΚ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Txordon helped the player get up and apologised. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Anestis Kapataidakis replaced Aris Voutsas. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when Titanes Mayas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Themos Stamelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Titanes Mayas. In the 84thth minute of the game Hipolito Txordon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΠΑΟΚ FC's Themos Stamelos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Themos Stamelos came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Titanes Mayas's Amado Dei. But to his dismay, Amado Dei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Titanes Mayas fans cheered their team off the field, for while ΠΑΟΚ FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
