Jens-Ola Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Gierlach, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Crosmayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Pekin Mahçupyan. Gelu Băcila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Cordarin having to make a save. Teofil Gierlach took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens-Ola Eklund. Jens-Ola Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Crosmayo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benito Lizer in the 39th minute. Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Albu in the 40th minute of play. Teofil Gierlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Băcila kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot 55 in the game by Domingo Hartz from a close distance when the talented Jens-Ola Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Avesta's players were relieved. In the 59thth minute of the game Teofil Gierlach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Albu in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alonzo Cordarin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teofil Gierlach in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jens-Ola Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 64 minutes into the match, Crosmayo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Băcila came free, but Alonzo Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelu Băcila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Cordarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Radomil Kolacki might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Cordarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radomil Kolacki ran back to his position shaking his head. Teofil Gierlach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Gierlach in the 74th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute of the match Crosmayo FC got a corner. Avesta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Lizer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 84 minutes Crosmayo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olof Orre who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Radomil Kolacki got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Gelu Băcila made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Cordarin. Crosmayo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
