Modesto Cayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernhardt Reshauge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Cayo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaston Atauri hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Fc Schönhagen's Loris Groß tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Crosmayo FC booed when Fc Schönhagen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rouven Bernhauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xie Cheng Xiao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Cordarin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Fc Schönhagen defense, Teofil Gierlach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernhardt Reshauge. The Fc Schönhagen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernhardt Reshauge should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Cordarin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loris Groß in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute Fc Schönhagen were awarded a corner. Loris Groß went to the cornerflag to take it. Xie Cheng Xiao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alonzo Cordarin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Crosmayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Gierlach. Alonzo Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 26th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Ruperto Lucila in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Schönhagen's Rouven Bernhauer. In the 29th minute Xie Cheng Xiao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xie Cheng Xiao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Cordarin was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. With a little luck, Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin got control of the ball when Xie Cheng Xiao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xie Cheng Xiao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Alonzo Cordarin made a huge save. Xie Cheng Xiao's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alonzo Cordarin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Bernhardt Reshauge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xie Cheng Xiao blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Cordarin having to make a save. With a little luck, Crosmayo FC's Alonzo Cordarin got control of the ball when Xie Cheng Xiao tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xie Cheng Xiao got free with Alonzo Cordarin in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klaus Wauters hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Fc Schönhagen defense, Teofil Gierlach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernhardt Reshauge. The Fc Schönhagen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernhardt Reshauge should have stopped the shot. The Fc Schönhagen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Crosmayo FC were winning 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xie Cheng Xiao was the one to do the kick off. Alonzo Cordarin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Cheng Xiao in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Crosmayo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Loris Groß who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Fc Schönhagen's corner Loris Groß fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alonzo Cordarin quite easily take care of the ball. Fc Schönhagen were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Crosmayo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Loris Groß took the corner. When Xie Cheng Xiao came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Fc Schönhagen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xie Cheng Xiao couldn't finish the play. Xie Cheng Xiao took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Cordarin. Alonzo Cordarin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Xie Cheng Xiao might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alonzo Cordarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xie Cheng Xiao ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Schönhagen's zone, Teofil Gierlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernhardt Reshauge came out of the goal and Teofil Gierlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Klaus Wauters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Castelain during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Fc Schönhagen's Xie Cheng Xiao in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Crosmayo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alonzo Cordarin came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Schönhagen's Xie Cheng Xiao. But to his dismay, Xie Cheng Xiao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The Fc Schönhagen players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
