Santiago Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berne Flesfadar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Santiago Silva put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Berne Flesfadar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Silva in the 14th minute of play forced Black Mamba's goalkeeper Berne Flesfadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berne Flesfadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Zacharakis in the 16th minute of play. Berne Flesfadar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sotiris Zacharakis's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. ΠΑΟΚ FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Kamp in the 21st minute. The corner led ΠΑΟΚ FC's Björn Kamp to fire away a dangerous shot which Berne Flesfadar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Sotiris Zacharakis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Black Mamba's Berne Flesfadar. Berne Flesfadar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Black Mamba's zone, Santiago Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berne Flesfadar came out of the goal and Santiago Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sotiris Zacharakis came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the ΠΑΟΚ FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sotiris Zacharakis couldn't finish the play. Berne Flesfadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 38 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Savas Karameris. After 41 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Petros Mirtsos. In the 43rd minute Santiago Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berne Flesfadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Black Mamba's Fabricio Salomone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ingvar Nykvist. That made the score 1-3 after 45 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Silva made a kick off. When ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva in the 50th minute got a chance for a shot 50th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva came free and shot a quick shot against goal 63 minutes in the game, fortunately Berne Flesfadar had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, Black Mamba's Berne Flesfadar got control of the ball when Santiago Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Salomone hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Santiago Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berne Flesfadar. The goal made the score 1-5. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Zheng Yang Zhen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Silva got free with Berne Flesfadar in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berne Flesfadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zheng Yang Zhen in the 76th minute of play. With his leg Berne Flesfadar managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Black Mamba's zone, Zheng Yang Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berne Flesfadar came out of the goal and Zheng Yang Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Black Mamba's Juan Manuel Monti was substituted for Gencay Devrim. Berne Flesfadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zheng Yang Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Black Mamba booed when ΠΑΟΚ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petros Mirtsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute Zheng Yang Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berne Flesfadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zheng Yang Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Yang Zhen in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berne Flesfadar saved Black Mamba from getting behind. The corner ended in Björn Kamp almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black Mamba's Berne Flesfadar did a great save. ΠΑΟΚ FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
