The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Santiago Silva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Edgar Finsberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 9th minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Santiago Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Finsberg. Edgar Finsberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 12th minute, Santiago Silva made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Finsberg. FC Karlskoga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Björn Kamp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Silva in the 18th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Santiago Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Finsberg was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Silva in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Finsberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Karlskoga's Isaac Ruisko got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Kamp in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Karlskoga's goalkeeper Edgar Finsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Kock to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Silva in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Finsberg saved FC Karlskoga from getting behind. Santiago Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santiago Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Finsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Silvas short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Edgar Finsberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santiago Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Finsberg having to interfere. A hard shot 46 in the game by Santiago Silva from a close distance when the talented Edgar Finsberg managed to make a qualified save. FC Karlskoga's players were relieved. Santiago Silva struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Edgar Finsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ΠΑΟΚ FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigiusz Tomaszewski was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the FC Karlskoga defense, Santiago Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Finsberg. The FC Karlskoga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Finsberg should have stopped the shot. Edgar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Silva in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Santiago Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Finsberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. ΠΑΟΚ FC made a substitution. Ronaldão Mendonça replaced Vassilis Bitsikas. FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Mirtsos in the 67th minute of play. Santiago Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Finsberg having to interfere. Edgar Finsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Silva in the 72nd minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Santiago Silva notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of FC Karlskoga's Edgar Finsberg. Edgar Finsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of ΠΑΟΚ FC booed when FC Karlskoga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac Ruisko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Björn Kamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Finsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. The ΠΑΟΚ FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when ΠΑΟΚ FC's Zheng Yang Zhen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zheng Yang Zhen in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Finsberg saved FC Karlskoga from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ΠΑΟΚ FC had played much better football throughout.
