After taking down the ball on Hungarian Olympic's corner Mátyás Zakariás fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alonzo Cordarin quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Mátyás Zakariás sped through Crosmayo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alonzo Cordarin. After 26 played minutes Crosmayo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Quinteros. Alonzo Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Belarmo in the 27th minute of play. Hungarian Olympic's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zoltán Stieber in the 28th minute. Hungarian Olympic's Edmund Eliasson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alonzo Cordarin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 30th minute of the match Hungarian Olympic got a corner. Crosmayo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zoltán Stieber ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mátyás Zakariás received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alonzo Cordarin came out and tried to block the shot, but Mátyás Zakariás slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute.
