Cipriano Bernat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Estacio Miñon came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Bernat slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 6th match minute, Papato Tatengue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Castulo to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Team's goalkeeper Estacio Miñon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cipriano Bernat might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Estacio Miñon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Bernat ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Bernat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estacio Miñon having to make a save. Marin Tejerina kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Cipriano Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cipriano Bernat had several of the New Team's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Estacio Miñon as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 25th match minute, New Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borja Massey to maneuver through the defense. Estacio Miñon was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Cipriano Bernat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cipriano Bernat really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Estacio Miñon. That made the score 5-0 after 31 minutes of play. If Cipriano Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Cipriano Bernat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Team's Estacio Miñon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Estacio Miñon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Estacio Miñon. Estacio Miñon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Eduardo Guerrero to strike the kick off in the second half. Estacio Miñon came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Papato Tatengue's Cipriano Bernat. But to his dismay, Cipriano Bernat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Papato Tatengue's Artemio Ihazintu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Gox in the 54 minute of the game. When Borja Massey fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Team's protests and gave Borja Massey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, New Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Borja Massey to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Bernat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estacio Miñon having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Vilson Ibarguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Papato Tatengue's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
