Loco Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Rossi got free with Elia Di Nardo in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Rossi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elia Di Nardo having to make a save. 19 minutes into the match, LA Lord Perez's goalkeeper Elia Di Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Rossi. Montesacro FC's Mathias Almeyda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emiliano Carnevale, made in the 20th minute of the game. Paolo Rossi scored 3-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elia Di Nardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Montesacro FC's Loco Palermo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elia Di Nardo. Elia Di Nardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 30th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elia Di Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elia Di Nardo came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi. But to his dismay, Paolo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 36 minutes, Cristoforo Di Lorenzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LA Lord Perez and the Montesacro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Montesacro FC's Dimitar Berbatov was substituted for Juliusz Julien. After a rather tough play, LA Lord Perez's Cristoforo Di Lorenzo got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Ciccio Bussi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elia Di Nardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paolo Rossi took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elia Di Nardo. Elia Di Nardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loco Palermo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to LA Lord Perez getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dave Del Duca hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute of the match Paolo Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elia Di Nardo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Paolo Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montesacro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Rossi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elia Di Nardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 61 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of LA Lord Perez's Elia Di Nardo. Elia Di Nardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elia Di Nardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paolo Rossi's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Loco Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Elia Di Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Rossi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elia Di Nardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Montesacro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paolo Rossi in the 73rd minute. Paolo Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elia Di Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loco Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elia Di Nardo having to interfere. Dimitar Berbatov hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ciccio Bussi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Loco Palermo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Elia Di Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Del Gatto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when LA Lord Perez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Di Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Montesacro FC had played much better football throughout.
