Comunardo Guerrini came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Montesacro FC's Paolo Rossi. But to his dismay, Paolo Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Rossi in the 8th minute of play forced Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Comunardo Guerrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 10th minute of play. Dexter Morgan VR46's Bob Marley got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Dexter Morgan VR46 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Costică Vătavu hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Eraldo Di Filippo in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dexter Morgan VR46's Costică Vătavu. If Bob Marley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Marley in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Bob Marley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giacomo Casanova. Montesacro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bob Marley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Montesacro FC's Alkinoos Baloukos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Costică Vătavu in the 30 minute of the game. Daniel Prodan's late challenge caught a Dexter Morgan VR46's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Prodan helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Prodan. Bob Marley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bennvar Björkänge kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Guerrini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Stig-Åke Vacker put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Dexter Morgan VR46's Stig-Åke Vacker got a free kick in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Dexter Morgan VR46 made a substitution. Claudio Ciolli replaced Anfilogino Palma. The wind increased when Loco Palermo made the kick off in the second half. Comunardo Guerrini made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Paolo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Giacomo Casanova stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Nardo's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Rossi got free with Comunardo Guerrini in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, Daniel Prodan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Bob Marley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giacomo Casanova was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 72 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Palermo came free, but Comunardo Guerrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Montesacro FC were awarded a corner. Paolo Rossi went to the cornerflag to take it. Loco Palermo made a great header on Montesacro FC's corner, it was just that Dexter Morgan VR46's Comunardo Guerrini managed to reach the ball for a save. Giacomo Casanova stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomiro Nardo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when Dexter Morgan VR46 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matt McGregor didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bob Marley came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Marley in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giacomo Casanova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mathias Almeyda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Comunardo Guerrini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper Comunardo Guerrini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Rossi. 97 minutes into the match, Dexter Morgan VR46's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Palermo came free, but Comunardo Guerrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
