Valdo Peres kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 4thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Yolo's keeper Wieslaw Dec was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Coelho FC's Valdo Peres, in the 5th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Coelho FC. Wieslaw Dec was a little too slow when Valdo Peres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Yolo's André Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Yolo's André Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Renato Novaes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute Antoni Wyrostek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Yolo's goalkeeper Wieslaw Dec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Peres. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdo Peres got free with Wieslaw Dec in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Silva scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Renato Novaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdo Peres struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Wieslaw Dec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coelho FC.

The supporters of Coelho FC booed when Yolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Iurea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Jordi Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 58 minutes, Panagiotis Abelas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coelho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Abelas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yolo's Wieslaw Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Linhares in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Coelho FC's Paulo Renato Novaes got control of the ball when André Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wieslaw Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Peres in the 65th minute of the match. André Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yolo's Wieslaw Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Peres in the 68th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Valdo Peres put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wieslaw Dec. In the 72nd minute, Antoni Wyrostek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulo Renato Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Silva in the 78th minute of play. Paulo Renato Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Silva's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. George Strömberg's late challenge caught a Yolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. George Strömberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, George Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wieslaw Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Wawrzyniec Kissel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Renato Novaes. The goal made the score 3-2. If André Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Coelho FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yolo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
