An unexpectedly hard shot by Ime Mavros in the 3rd minute of play forced Wariatów Kupa's goalkeeper Klaas Dejonghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klaas Dejonghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes of play, KANONIERZY's Ime Mavros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Klaas Dejonghe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Maciej Ligas got free with Christian Abbiati in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KANONIERZY's Gösta Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivo Chaves hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save KANONIERZY from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Dejonghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszko Kempski. The Wariatów Kupa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klaas Dejonghe should have stopped the shot. In the 47thth minute of the game Osvaldinho Lewandowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gösta Söderberg made a kick off. Wariatów Kupa's Klaas Dejonghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 52nd minute of play. 52 minutes into the game, Ludomil Poteralski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KANONIERZY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wariatów Kupa the free kick. Osvaldinho Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute.
