In the 5thth minute of the game Timoteo Columbo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes ViCeNzA got a freekick which was hit by Wellington Flores. Primo Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Hernández in the 13th minute of the match. Primo Speranza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Hernández went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goalkeeper Sergio Livingstone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jakub Fedor. Primo Speranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Stora in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Clodoveo Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ViCeNzA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matías Hernández in the 21st minute. The corner ended in Clodoveo Cayo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Academia 1903's Primo Speranza did a great save. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Clodoveo Cayo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Primo Speranza. Primo Speranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Long Stora in the 32nd minute of the match. Sergio Livingstone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute Long Stora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Long Stora in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primo Speranza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half ViCeNzA were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Columbo to strike the kick off in the second half. ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 53rd minute of play. Sergio Livingstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Hernández came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herman Mellbad kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Academia 1903 made a substitution. Gérard Magyar replaced Jakub Fedor. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when ViCeNzA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Mellbad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Matthäus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Primo Speranza made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Matías Hernández sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Livingstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Matthäus in the 69th minute of the match. Leon Matthäus took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Livingstone. Sergio Livingstone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. ViCeNzA made a substitution. Robert Moreau replaced Matías Hernández. 75 minutes into the match, Leon Matthäus notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone. Sergio Livingstone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute Long Stora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primo Speranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Clodoveo Cayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Matthäus came free, but Sergio Livingstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Matthäus scored 4-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Livingstone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia 1903's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
