With a little luck, Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg got control of the ball when Victor Jensen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ted Holmgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Burkhard Kofler was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hanjo Cyrkel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ted Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burkhard Kofler having to interfere. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Jensen in the 62nd minute of play. When Ted Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sundborn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Holmgren couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Hanjo Cyrkel notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg. Kalle Askberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Sundborn IF defense, Victor Jensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Askberg. The Sundborn IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Askberg should have stopped the shot. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Kaloyan Mitashev replaced Ted Holmgren. Sundborn IF's Joachim Svensson was substituted for Jan Håning. Sundborn IF's Joachim Svensson suffered a sore foot after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tino von Fraunhofen charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Aqşin Aläkbärov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Aqşin Aläkbärov hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Jensen during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Victor Jensen got a free kick in the 91st minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
