Sverker Danielsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kalle Askberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sverker Danielsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Henning Bennet hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. FC Wrocanka's Kajetan Dawiec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save FC Wrocanka from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the game, Sverker Danielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kalle Askberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wieslaw Cichowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Askberg having to interfere. FC Wrocanka's Kajetan Dawiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Holmgren in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Sundborn IF were awarded a corner. Sven-Olof Stephansson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Karl-Magnus Hansson got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 28 minutes into the match. Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 39th minute of play. Sundborn IF's attentive Börje Ekström managed to snatch the ball when Tomasz Jarosz made a throw-in in the 40th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Sundborn IF's Jan Håning got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Sundborn IF got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Pitta. The Sundborn IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Wrocanka were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ted Holmgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Kajetan Dawiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Holmgren in the 51st minute of play.
