After a rather tough play, ViCeNzA's Matías Hernández got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ViCeNzA's zone, Arnaldo Alsua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Livingstone came out of the goal and Arnaldo Alsua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Hernández got free with Roman Masharov in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Livingstone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Alsua's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Wellington Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Alsua took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Livingstone. Sergio Livingstone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mario Mariny kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ViCeNzA defense, Arnaldo Alsua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Livingstone. The ViCeNzA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Livingstone should have stopped the shot. Matías Hernández could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Roman Masharov made a huge save. Sergio Livingstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Alsua in the 34th minute of play. ............'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Peter Achenbach in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Peter Achenbach almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone did a great save. Sergio Livingstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Alsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Alsua in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Livingstone saved ViCeNzA from getting behind. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when ............ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Mariny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Masharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Stora in the 47th minute of play. The ViCeNzA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ............ were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Long Stora made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Alsua notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone. Sergio Livingstone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ViCeNzA's Sergio Livingstone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Alsua in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Arnaldo Alsua reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sergio Livingstone. The goal made the score 0-5. ViCeNzA's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 70 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Alsua cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Sergio Livingstone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roman Masharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Moreau in the 73rd minute of play. Arnaldo Alsua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Livingstone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 79 played minutes ViCeNzA got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Tuste. Sergio Livingstone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnaldo Alsua showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, ............'s goal looked a bit too open when Long Stora came free, but Roman Masharov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ............ defense, Robert Moreau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Masharov. The ............ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Masharov should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Alsua in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Livingstone saved ViCeNzA from getting behind. Arnaldo Alsua struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sergio Livingstone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ............. Roman Masharov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Long Stora, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ............ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
