The throw-in from Luís Paulo da Fonseca in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.Esparta's Ronaldo Queirós. In the 14th minute, Jorrin Briones made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Salvadore. C.A.Esparta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when C.A.Esparta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Junior in the 33rd minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Ferenc Tököli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Eskil Julin managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Filip Wawrukiewicz in the 42 minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ferenc Tököli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Jorrin Briones came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorrin Briones scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Salvadore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Evelio Salvadore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerrold Taranco's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Junior in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerrold Taranco in the 71st minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cristiano Salah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A.Esparta's Adrian Arotza was substituted for Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. C.A.Esparta's Felix Orlan was substituted for Luis Galván. Joseph Schwarzfischer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Cristiano Salah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Salvadore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play.
