The Olivos Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robustiano Nel should have stopped the shot. Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Batistuta in the 17th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Olivos Futbol Club's zone, Sílvio Luiz Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Nel came out of the goal and Sílvio Luiz Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Proença in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Nel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Cipriano Proença's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Nel was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Cipriano Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robustiano Nel having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Olivos Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Proença came free, but Robustiano Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Cipriano Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Robustiano Nel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40thth minute of the game Cipriano Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

Cipriano Proença's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Nel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Sílvio Luiz Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olivos Futbol Club's Robustiano Nel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Cipriano Proença cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Robustiano Nel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Luiz Mazza got free with Robustiano Nel in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olivos Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Sílvio Luiz Mazza scored to the left of an out of position Robustiano Nel, making the score, 1-8. Tigre das Américas's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Ondino in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Andres Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Proença might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robustiano Nel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Proença ran back to his position shaking his head. Robustiano Nel made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Cipriano Proença sent off a good shot on target. Sílvio Luiz Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tigre das Américas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Astor Pes was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivos Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Astor Pes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tigre das Américas's Édouard Mendy did a great save. Cipriano Proença who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Robustiano Nel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tigre das Américas's Cipriano Proença in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
