The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hans Haan managed to get in a good position for a shot. De hijgende Hertjes's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Haan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 26th minute Marco Assendelft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Millan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henk van der Werff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Assendelft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Abalos having to make a save. Iker Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Assendelft in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Marco Assendelft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Iker Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Gualterio Jayvier made a precise shot to the right of Henk van der Werff. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gualterio Jayvier to make the kick off.
