The crowd rose to their feet as Claudinei Cardoso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henk van der Werff. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Yan Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Assendelft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. De hijgende Hertjes's Henk van der Werff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Cardoso in the 24th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Claudinei Cardoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henk van der Werff. De hijgende Hertjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudinei Cardoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Alex Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Claudinho Dionísio in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by De hijgende Hertjes's Yong 典韦. Marco Assendelft might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yan Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Assendelft ran back to his position shaking his head. Henk van der Werff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel de Almeida in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Palmeiras de Plantão's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Assendelft came free, but Yan Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henk van der Werff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nildo Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Yong 典韦 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Yan Peixoto made a huge save. Palmeiras de Plantão's Yan Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Palmeiras de Plantão from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Palmeiras de Plantão's zone, Marco Assendelft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yan Peixoto came out of the goal and Marco Assendelft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Palmeiras de Plantão's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Assendelft came free, but Yan Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De hijgende Hertjes's Henk van der Werff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Pernambucano in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palmeiras de Plantão had won after a very even match.
