The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Matheu City FC's Minas Makris got a free kick in the 13th minute. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Victor Salomon with Robinho Salgado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Robinho Salgado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Robinho Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minas Makris in the 29th minute of play forced Skyrim's goalkeeper Ulysses Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixto Mon got free with Ulysses Magalhães in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iosif Stancu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adilson Souza hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Mathias Munhoz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Betinho Motta hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristian Ronaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Ronaldo came free, but Jacinto Leoiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulysses Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Mon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Robinho Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matheu City FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Skyrim made a substitution. Richard-Dean Nixon replaced Iosif Stancu. In the 76th minute, Cristian Ronaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulysses Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Minas Makris in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Matheu City FC's Robinho Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulysses Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 90 minutes into the match, Sixto Mon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulysses Magalhães. Skyrim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Mon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Skyrim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
