Alfred Dziatkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Betão Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the WZG Sandomierz defense, Nereo Rik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfred Dziatkowski. The WZG Sandomierz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfred Dziatkowski should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Kajetan Wolniewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WZG Sandomierz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, NeW York CitY CopS's Santos Tristan got control of the ball when Widodo 曹操 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aldo Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of WZG Sandomierz booed when NeW York CitY CopS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Rito didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kajetan Wolniewicz came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the WZG Sandomierz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kajetan Wolniewicz couldn't finish the play. Santos Tristan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Kajetan Wolniewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santos Tristan. The goal made the score 3-1. 31 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Rik came free, but Alfred Dziatkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kajetan Wolniewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Tristan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajetan Wolniewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Tristan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Wolniewicz in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Rik in the 36th minute of play forced WZG Sandomierz's goalkeeper Alfred Dziatkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, WZG Sandomierz's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Rik came free, but Alfred Dziatkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Santos Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Santos Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Kajetan Wolniewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NeW York CitY CopS's Serafin Mark was substituted for Nereo Rik. After 75th play minutes Kajetan Wolniewicz shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Santos Tristan and just under the crossbar into goal. NeW York CitY CopS made a substitution. Arjen Robben replaced Javi Milei.
