Ladio Sabuco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Edvin Stenkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Little Big's Edvin Stenkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Little Big from getting a goal against them. In the 12th minute, Real Dracul Medellín's Merexildo Mathey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edvin Stenkvist. Edvin Stenkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ladio Sabuco in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edvin Stenkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 17th match minute, Little Big was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Bollström to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladio Sabuco got free with Edvin Stenkvist in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Thomas Tingelholm made a precise shot to the right of Tercero Arriete. Real Dracul Medellín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Alf Rydelius fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Little Big's protests and gave Alf Rydelius a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Real Dracul Medellín booed when Little Big was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Rydelius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Little Big's Alf Rydelius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tercero Arriete made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Erik Bollström charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Bollström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Dracul Medellín booed when Little Big was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Bollström didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladio Sabuco to make the kick off. Giro Galdamez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Edvin Stenkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tercero Arriete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Tingelholm in the 56th minute of play. If Merexildo Mathey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ingvar Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Big's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingvar Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tercero Arriete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute, Alf Rydelius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tercero Arriete was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Barto Falla kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Håkan Holmberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Dracul Medellín's Tercero Arriete didn't even have to move. 77 minutes into the match, Real Dracul Medellín's goalkeeper Tercero Arriete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Rydelius. After a rather tough play, Little Big's Thomas Tingelholm got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ladio Sabuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Stenkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giro Galdamez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ladio Sabuco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin Stenkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ladio Sabuco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvin Stenkvist having to make a save. When Ladio Sabuco came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Real Dracul Medellín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladio Sabuco couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Alf Rydelius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tercero Arriete was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Thomas Tingelholm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tercero Arriete, 1-4. The Little Big supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Little Big would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
