Alekos Papachristou started the match with the kick off. S.C.PAULISTA's João Francisco Neves quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Manolis Nikologiannis, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Papachristou in the 5th minute of play. S.C.PAULISTA's attentive João Francisco Neves managed to snatch the ball when Manolis Nikologiannis made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. Flávio Fantini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofilos Stamatis in the 15th minute of the match. Fernando Prado struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Themis Apostolakoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C.PAULISTA. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Borges in the 19th minute of play forced Pagos FC's goalkeeper Themis Apostolakoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pagos FC's Manolis Nikologiannis got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, S.C.PAULISTA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. When Alekos Kasoumis came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pagos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alekos Kasoumis couldn't finish the play. Flávio Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alekos Papachristou's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, S.C.PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Alekos Papachristou came free, but Flávio Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Alekos Papachristou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Alekos Papachristou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but S.C.PAULISTA's Flávio Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Délio Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Flávio Fantini came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Alekos Papachristou. But to his dismay, Alekos Papachristou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The S.C.PAULISTA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pagos FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Alekos Papachristou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flávio Fantini was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Alekos Papachristou sped through S.C.PAULISTA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flávio Fantini. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasimos Maros in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Grigoris Poursanidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flávio Fantini. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 74th minute Grigoris Poursanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flávio Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alekos Papachristou in the 77th minute of play. Flávio Fantini stood somewhat misplaced when Alekos Papachristou came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 78 minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Alekos Papachristou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flávio Fantini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 85 played minutes S.C.PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Jean Borges. When Délio Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C.PAULISTA's protests and gave Délio Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Délio Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pagos FC's Alekos Kasoumis got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Omiros Kalopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pagos FC and the S.C.PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dimitris Stoltidis scored 1-5 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio Fantini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Pagos FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.C.PAULISTA throughout the match.
