It was a penalty for Formentera! The supporters of Formentera booed when AEK FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Bjørsvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Medero during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Urbano Medero hit a great ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Alonzo Vincente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Vincente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Hansen came free, but Prudencio Otsoko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Ingvar Nordanger notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Formentera's Prudencio Otsoko. Prudencio Otsoko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Alonzo Vincente made the kick off in the second half. Alonzo Vincente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ole Lorentzen having to interfere. Ole Lorentzen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnulfo Seme went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Christian Jerrald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ole Lorentzen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Prudencio Otsoko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Nordanger in the 71st minute of play. When Asgeir Lam fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK FC's protests and gave Asgeir Lam a yellow card for diving instead.
