In the 41st minute, Damian Pozorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, chacarita juniors's Americo Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Tancredo to make the kick off. Rene Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santos Incendio hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Dark Drinkers Sanok's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
