Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Youri Djorkaeff in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Åge Undheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Åge Undheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Djorkaeff in the 27th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åge Undheim was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to AEK FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Birger Dalheim hit a great ball. When Avel Vat's Youri Djorkaeff in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in AEK FC's zone, Guillaume Minier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åge Undheim came out of the goal and Guillaume Minier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 74th minute, Guillaume Minier made a precise shot to the right of Åge Undheim. AEK FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Youri Djorkaeff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Åge Undheim made a huge save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK FC's goalkeeper Åge Undheim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åge Undheim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcom Vrignon, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Avel Vat's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
